Moog Indigo now available on 180gram vinyl: http://smarturl.it/moog-indigo Released at the height of Perrey’s long career, Moog Indigo offers a kaleidoscopic array of sounds, blending funk, lounge, and the avant-garde, delivered with imagination and the artist’s signature playful sensibility. The centerpiece of the album, “E.V.A.”, has been heavily sampled by acts as diverse as Kool Keith (aka Dr. Octagon) (1996’s “3000”) and Pusha T (2014’s “Lunch Money”) to Fatboy Slim (whose 1997 remix of the song became a classic dancefloor staple) and stands the test of time with its space-age funk. Most recently, “E.V.A.” was included in the critically-acclaimed, sought-after 4-LP collection, Jazz Dispensary: Cosmic Stash, which was released exclusively for Record Store Day in April 2016. This video is a collaboration between video artist Travis Flournoy (Mark de Clive Lowe, The Discovery Project, John Daversa) and mixed-media artist Ellie Rex. Together they combed through archive.org and other libraries sampling a menagerie of odd objects and creatures to populate a space-themed world imagined for Perrey's “E.V.A.” Taking the meaning of the acronym Extra-Vehicular Activity literally, the duo has crafted a universe of oddities for an intrepid solo astronaut to float through. The piece is a mixture of stock footage, stills, video texture and generated gfx composited into a single bizarre odyssey by Flournoy.

"For Chance" [from debut tap music album, New Change] Tribute to Chance Taylor This video is a tribute to my teacher and friend, Chance Taylor. He was a beautiful soul with impeccable talent. A brilliant tap dancer, with his musicality and technique out of this world. A fan of John Coltrane and Bob Marley. He always spread love and light merely by his presence. Chance suffered from bipolar disorder. His sense of self shifted and turned upside down. He took his life in 2012. In support of mental & behavioral health disorders, this piece represents my interpretation of what he was going through as well as my feelings about his loss.
